Interguild Representative Job Description Print E-mail
Purpose:
The incumbent will represent his/her school in all matters relating to Interguild and will act as a liaison between Interguild and the school.

Specific Responsibilities:
The Interguild Representative (IG Rep.) will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Provide Interguild with contact information (i.e. name of IG Rep. and/or President, e-mail address, phone number, mailing address, etc) - any changes should be communicated as soon as possible;
  • Check the Interguild website www.interguild.org on a regular basis for information on upcoming events, general information about Interguild, and for contact names and addresses, etc. Specific communications will be sent by email.
  • Communicate all Interguild activities to the Parents' Association or Guild Executive and the parent body at large and encourage attendance. He/she will then RSVP to the event organizers on behalf of all those attending from his/her school.
  • Attend Interguild functions.
  • Be responsible for co-coordinating any Interguild event held at his/her school.
  • Ensure the annual invoice is paid.
  • Ensure their Head of School is informed on the role and purpose of Interguild
Time Commitment:
Approximately 6 x 1/2 days per school year to attend events and a few hours over the year to fill out surveys, respond to e-mails, communicate upcoming events, etc.
