Interguild is an organization which brings together representatives of Guild/Parent Associations of Independent Schools in Ontario, which are members of the Conference of Independent Schools (CIS). From seven member schools in 1989 we now represent approximately 38 CIS schools located in Ontario. The Interguild Executive consists of between 8 and 12 members representing different member schools.
Annual events organized by Interguild include a Breakfast Meeting for all school Presidents and Interguild Representatives, networking forums on a variety of topics, a Suppliers' Day to bring together potential suppliers and school store personnel, a workshop on a variety of topics of interest to parent school leaders, a Spring Luncheon and the Annual General Meeting. Member schools host and help to run these events. Our workshops, and the AGM and Spring Luncheon are open to the full parent body of member schools.
The Interguild Bulletin Board on this website affords the Interguild Community the opportunity to advertise upcoming events at their school. It is well used, and one more way to get the word out to a broader audience.
